The Devil's Plantation is May Miles Thomas' homage to her native city of Glasgow.
Backed by the Scottish Arts Council's Creative Scotland Award - one of Europe's richest and most significant arts prizes - this interactive project is a unique exploration of place, time and memory.
Inspired by The Secret Geometry of Glasgow: The City's Oldest Mystery, Miles Thomas sets out to reconstruct author Harry Bell's theory that the city aligns to a now-invisible network of ancient sites.
But the chance discovery of a discarded file on ex-psychiatric patient, Mary Ross, brings insight into a wholly different quest for meaning.
The result is a compelling psycho-geographic journey that both explores the nature of storytelling and reveals the hidden design that eluded Harry Bell.
Many thanks to PsyGeo for great insights and good thoughts.
